Impactful Relationships
Relationships are special, no matter how brief or impactful. Each connection you make with another person is incredible in its own right. I’ve, alike many others, been blessed by the presence of some incredible people in my time here on Earth. Through these relationships I’ve grown into who I am today. Family, Friends, Partners, Lovers, Mentors, and Strangers have all played a part in the formulation of me. Without them, I would not be where I am today. I’m so thankful to have been in their life, and for them to have been in mine.
Visualized Relations
I’ve decided to draw my life relations on a timeline the way I conceptualize them. With people as the lines coming in and out of my life, the strength and impact of those relationships highlighted in the strength of the line. The nature of the relationship highlighted in the colour. And the closeness showcased in nearness to my lifeline. Green is family, blue is friends, red and pink are partners and flings respectively. This isn’t a super high fidelity diagram, but more a rough showcase of who has come and gone in my life over time.
Make the Most of Each Connection
Each relationship is so dear to my heart. There is so much that can come from that connection. It’s important to me to maximize the experience I share with each person that comes into my life. You never know when a random chance acquaintance can turn into a very meaningful relationship for years and years.
